The grandfather of the well-loved M65 jacket is the M43 jacket. Developed in 1943, it was meant to replace the M41 jacket. An OD-7 color with two waist pockets and two breast pockets. 
This example is a size 38 S and is in overall decent condition. Only one pocket button is missing, and there are a few signs of fraying near the cuffs. 
This would make for a great item for your WW2 impression or for everyday wear.
