World War 2 Surplus! This is not something you see very often, items dating from the Second World War sold at surplus prices! World War 2 British mess kits made of tinned steel, have definitely seen better days. Despite this, these make a perfect display piece or a useful item for your reenactment impression.
Out of the two pieces that you receive, at least one will have a World War 2 date (I have seen 1941 and 1942). 

These are over 80 years old therefore, they will show signs of use including small spots of rust and small dents and dings.
