These US cold weather overalls were originally part of the US Extended Cold Weather Clothing System (ECWCS). When worn on their own, they give a resemblance to a bear, hence the nickname "bear suit". 
These jackets are really warm and although they are meant to be worn under your parka, I think they look better when visible.

These are made of 100% polyester and will keep you warm for these awaiting cold months. 
Each jackets come with two breast pockets and two waist pockets. They close via a full zipper. 

Since these were originally made to be worn under your clothes, they will run a bit small in size. If you wish to have more room to move around in, I would recommend ordering one size up. 
The model in the photo is 5'8" weighs 145 pounds and is wearing a size Medium while only wearing a shirt underneath.
