These hats were used by West German armed forces when they were working (not strictly military duties). They are a cotton blend twill construction and are lightweight. Perfect to wear when working on those hot summer days.
 
They have a fold-down flap on the back to help protect your neck and ears from the sun.
Some will have been modified with an added white cloth that will cover more of your neck and ears. I do not know when these were modified so they are being sold as "modified" ones from the option selector.
 
Sizing: Most of the caps are true to their marked sizes, but for whatever reason, some are way smaller than marked. I tried my best to gauge what their actual size was. So just order your normal hat size, and you will receive one that fits, despite what the tag says.
 
These are all used surplus, so please expect some fading, small tears, fraying, and/or markings. Aside from this, these are all ready to be worn.
