Do you miss your grandma's decorations and love to collect East German items? Then these East German scarves and doilies will fill that void.
 
These were normally given to NVA soldiers who completed their service as a parting gift. 
This will come with one doily, scarf, and plastic bag.
 
The doilies measure approximately 11"x11" and features the DDR coat of arms and reads "Nationale Volksarmee (National People's Army)
 
The scarf measures approximately 26''x26". The scarf has plenty of images of NVA troops, some with tanks, others with gas protection suits. In the middle, the DDR coat of arms is prominent, and around it are phrases "Ehrenvoll Gedient" (Served Honorably) and "Beiden Landstreitkräfte Der NVA" (Both land forces of the NVA).
 
The plastic bag is the original packaging that these would be transported in. On it, you can see an NVA soldier jumping over a wall to his family with the phrase "Ehrenvoll bis zum letzten Tag gedient" (Served honorably until the last day). 
 
These are over at least 34 years old so please expect some staining and/or storage wear.
